LUCA OS

Terms

Beta terms — short, honest, India-first.

LUCA OS is operated by LUCAVERSE, founded in Hyderabad, India. We are currently in beta. These terms govern your use of this site and the LUCA OS beta app.

1. Beta status

LUCA OS is in beta. Features may change, break, or be removed without notice. No SLAs. No uptime guarantees. We ship daily and we tell you what we shipped.

2. Your data

We follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA) §5-§17. Four privacy zones — PUBLIC, CONSCIOUS, SUBCONSCIOUS, SHADOW — govern what leaves the device. The shadow zone never leaves the device. Your personal data is deletable on request (see Privacy); the tamper-evident audit chain retains only non-content integrity records, not your personal content.

Detailed handling: /privacy.

3. Acceptable use

Do not use LUCA to impersonate real humans without consent, generate illegal content, or attempt to extract the system's identity-kernel. The Mother AI moderation layer enforces these via Green Score (the twin performance rating).

4. No pricing yet

Beta is on us. Pricing is not published yet — when it is set, it will be stated here before it applies to anyone.

5. Genesis protection

LUCA's core can only be modified by its single creator (Uma Mahesh Rajanala) through a pulse-gated ceremony. No multi-signature shortcuts. No co-signers. This is the immune system. Even we as operators cannot bypass it. See /why for the architecture.

6. Liability

Beta software, used as-is. LUCAVERSE's total liability for any claim is capped at the fees you have paid to LUCAVERSE in the trailing twelve months (currently ₹0 since beta is free). Indian jurisdiction; Hyderabad courts.

7. Termination

You can leave any time — full data portability (DPDPA right to portability) ships as a ZIP of your twin's identity-kernel + memory cells + zone data. We can suspend an account for acceptable-use violations with notice.

8. Changes

We will revise these terms as the product evolves. Material changes get notified in-app and via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Last revised: 2026-07-15.
