LUCA OS processes personal data under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA). This page summarises the essentials; a full policy follows in the app settings.

Data residency

Personal data is stored in India (Oracle Cloud, Hyderabad). To answer you, we send the minimum necessary text to our AI model provider (OpenRouter, on zero-data-retention, non-China routes) — a processing transfer outside India, strictly for generating your reply; your private “shadow” data never leaves your device.

Consent

Every sensitive data flow requires explicit consent. The twin only reads what you authorise, and you can revoke any consent from the app's privacy panel at any time.

Export & deletion

You may export all your data in a machine-readable format or request deletion. Requests are fulfilled within 30 days. Deletion covers your personal data; a tamper-evident integrity log retains only non-content records (no personal content).
